Red Turkey Castor Oil
Product Name: Red Turkey Castor Oil
Botanic Name: SULFATED RICINUS COMMUNIS
Turkey Red Castor Oil, also known as Sulfated Castor Oil. It’s water-soluble, which makes it very different from regular oils perfect for emulsions, bath products, and more. It is made by adding sulfuric acid to pure castor oil, making it a very good choice for a completely dispersing bath oil. Containing all the same humectant and moisturizing properties of Cosmetic Castor Oil but in a water soluble form. A common addition to bath products, natural soaps, skincare and cosmetics. As its name suggests, Turkey Red Castor Oil is dark red in colour.
What Is Red Turkey Oil?
Derived from castor oil by treating it with sulfuric acid, making it miscible with water.
Named “Turkey Red” for its reddish color—not because it’s from Turkey!
