The root of this tropical perennial plant is tuberous, much like Ginger, with long, white, fleshy fibers, and jointed appendages. Plai oil has a wonderful, uplifting peppery-green eucalyptus aroma, and is highly regarded for its therapeutic properties in massage. We've found this wildcrafted variety to be especially bright and fresh, a fine distillation. It is an excellent 'health supporting oil' and one of the best oils for treating aches, pains and inflammation. It is often included in natural remedies for arthritis and rheumatism.
