Description: This tangerine looking fruit is normally harvested in autumn while still green, although the fruits eventually turn into an orange, yellow colour.

Common Uses: Yuzu Oil  is a pure essential oil steam-distilled from the peels of the citrus Yuzu fruit. This clear, yellow and green essential oil carries a tart citrus aroma, with a scent similar to a combination of orange peel, tangerine, mandarin and grapefruit. Yuzu Essential Oil is used most often in perfumery applications as it has longer staying power in a blend. Yuzu Essential Oil is still considered a top note, but its natural aroma does not dry out as quickly as the other citrus oils. Emotionally, the aroma is uplifting and brings a sense of joy. Yuzu oil is commonly used in various aromatherapy blends and is said to help revitalize the skin, making it a popular ingredient in topical personal-care formulations.
