Cholagogue, diuretic, laxative, stomachache, tonic. Fumitory is used internally primarily for liver and gall-bladder problems. Larger doses act as a laxative and diuretic, but excessive doses can cause diarrhoea and stomach ache. For chronic constipation, use fumitory in combination with other appropriate herbs. Take fumitory also for scabies and other skin problems.
