A moderately strong vermicide used to kill parasitic organisms, most noted for its role as an effective agent for removing tapeworms.
Poultice may be applied externally to aid tissue healing. Contraindicated in pregnancy, mildly toxic, and should be used only under trained supervision. Parts Used: root dried rhizome, frond bases, apical buds.
