Ligustrum lucidum (Glossy Privet, Chinese Privet or Broad-leaf Privet)[1] is a species of privet native to the southern half of China and is classed as a noxious weed in New South Wales, Australia where it was introduced. The berries are used in traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of "sexual weakness", tinnitus (ringing in the ears), as well as for general fatigue. It is also used as increase the yin of the body.
