Extremely bitter leaves nibbled to stimulate appetite. Teas a folk remedy for delayed menses, fevers, and as a vermifuge. Good for stomach, liver and gallbladder ailments. Formerly used to make the liqueur Absinthe, which contains the mildly toxic principle thujone, chemically similar to THC. Intoxication from Absinthe liqueurs has been likened to that induced by marijuana. It is theorized that active component of both plants may react with the same receptors of the central nervous system. Common Wormwood preparations contain virtually no thujone, which can only be concentrated effectively by a complicated multi-phase extraction process including double steam distillation.

- Bought this because I heard this herb is great for lucid dreaming and was not disappointed. I taste delicious food, commandeer all kinds of vehicles, and experience all kinds of weather and environments as if I'm awake! For me it usually takes 2-3 days of drinking the tea before bed to lucid dream as described above.
- The tea is BITTER. The most bitter thing I've ever tasted. I have to put quite a bit of sugar in it to make it palatable.
- It has really helped my digestion and I imagine that if I didn't take it with sugar, it would be even better for my tummy. And I haven't had any negative side effects from it - not even a bad dream!
*Disclaimers!:
- The capacity to lucid dream varies by individual, and before using this herb I already had the ability. I just thought I'd share my experience as a testament to the quality of the herb.
- This herb is teratogenic! Can cause defects in fetuses so do not ingest if you are pregnant or trying. Do your research before ingesting!

This is a great product and a great company. Due to COVID delays the shipping took a while but when it arrived, the packaging was sturdy and herbs smell so lovely. Thank you Botanic Planet for this!
