The Blue Lotus (Nymphaea caerulea) is an ancient Egyptian water lily with ethereal blue-violet, star-shaped flowers, known for its sweet, calming scent, and significant cultural symbolism of creation and rebirth, historically used for relaxation, spiritual rituals, and as an aphrodisiac due to compounds like apomorphine and nuciferine, offering potential euphoric or calming effects.

Blue Lotus Absolute oil is extracted from the beautiful large mauve coloured flowers of Nymphaea caerulea which are native to Egypt, Thailand and parts of India. It has a deep sweet Lily scent with earthy undertones. The oil is used in many expensive perfumes.
