Rheum palmatum, known as Turkey rhubarb, Chinese rhubarb, ornamental rhubarb, and East Indian rhubarb, is a plant in the family Polygonaceae.[1] Closely related to the garden Rhubarb, Rheum rhaponticum, it has a similar purgative effect upon the human body.
