A strong, authentic raspberry flavor designed specifically for lip care applications. This oil-soluble, unsweetened flavor is ideal for use in lip balms, lip glosses, lipsticks, and other anhydrous lip products. The flavor is formulated using natural flavor constituents. It is unsweetened and does not contain artificial sweeteners, which are generally not recommended for lip care formulations.
Recommended Usage
We recommend using 1–5% of Raspberry Lip Balm Flavor in the finished formulation.
Recommended dosage per 1,000 mL of finished product:
1%: 10 mL
2%: 20 mL
3%: 30 mL
4%: 40 mL
5%: 50 mL
The optimal usage level depends on the desired flavor intensity and the formulation. Do not exceed the recommended usage level, as excessive flavor addition may affect the stability and texture of the lip product. Overuse may reduce the smooth feel of the base and may cause a warming, tingling, or burning sensation on the lips. For best results, begin at the lower end of the recommended range and gradually increase as needed.
Shelf Life & Storage
The product has a minimum shelf life of 12 months and up to 24 months when stored under proper conditions. Store in a tightly closed container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat, and excessive moisture. Always follow the shelf-life or best-before date provided on the product label or Certificate of Analysis, where applicable.
