Three stars because it is NOT pure even though on your ingredients description it says so. There is glycerine (who knows what type because that is also not listed), leucidal, and water. Cannot use as I do not want water in my product. RESPONSE FROM BPC Thank you for your feedback and for sharing your concerns. We’d like to clarify that our botanical extracts are intentionally offered in liquid form because liquid extracts are generally much safer and more stable for cosmetic formulations than powdered botanical extracts. Powdered extracts can introduce a much higher risk of microbial and fungal growth once incorporated into formulations, which can compromise both product safety and stability if not handled under strict manufacturing conditions. The glycerine, leucidal, and water are included to help maintain the integrity, preservation, and ease of use of the extract. This allows formulators to work with the ingredient more conveniently while helping protect the final cosmetic product from spoilage issues that are more common with dry botanical powders. We understand that some customers specifically prefer completely water-free ingredients, and we appreciate your feedback regarding the product description clarity
