Polyquaternium-7 is an organic compound in the polyquaternium class of chemicals and used in the personal care industry. polyquaternium-7 is a silicone-free cationic conditioner that coats the hair and smoothens it. It is compatible with anionic, cationic, nonionic, and amphoteric surfactants. It is widely used in hair care skincare to improve wet and dry combability, emollience, and gloss. Polyquaternium-7 is used as modifier, for example in shampoo, hair conditioner, hair spray, mousse, soap, gel, styling agent, shaving product, deodorant and antiperspirant.
